Metro Atlanta was named the second worst city in the nation for subterranean termites. Termites cause more damage to American’s home each year than all storms and fires combined. 20-30 cases of these super-termites have been found in the state of Georgia. While not native to the United States many Port cities have been infested for years. It is believed that the Formosan termites migrated to Georgia in used cross ties.
